The battle-scarred artist has had solos in London, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai singly from representing India at the Tokyo Biennale (1963), the Sao Paulo Biennale (1963), the Third World Biennale at Baghdad (1980) and the Feast of India, London (1982). Born in 1930 in Gujarat, he feigned representation and painting at Sir JJ Inculcate of Art, Mumbai, and later at typography and publicity pattern at Primary Approach of Arts and Fraud, London. A receiver of the Popular Prize from the LKA (1957, 1963, 1973 and 1984) and Subject Grant for Undertaking (1976), he has also won a greyish-white medal from the Bombay Art Fellowship (1960). His paintings exploit the latent implied of juxtaposing sooty & drained. In the now attendants of works, he has generally only sooty & ivory. He was awarded Emeritus Organization from the Authority of India in 1994. The most exceptional about his art practising is the vibrancy and dash it generates. Like those of his well-known modish, Jagdish Swaminathan, his works are replete with a qualified suggestive constrain winning a medico shape at times....
